<p>Well, UCI is good and I know that. So I consider myself with a lot chance to get into that school. Well, say I looked at the decision thread, and then...depressed. People there got at least 2100 on their SATs, at GPA is around 4.</p>
<p>I am worried, is UCI that crazy? I thought that score/gpa/E.A. could get you into Ivy school.</p>
<p>uci isn't that crazy. The average sat score is about 1830 and the gpa is about 3.8. Don't sweat it i'm sure your fine.</p>
<p>oh and those decisions are for regents who are the top 1.5% of the application pool.</p>
<p>oh...got it! i am having a unweighted 3.83, not many APs, but quite a bit college classes. Are they better than APs?</p>

<p>You'll be fine. Like they, said most of them are the regents people, with the execption of a few for some unknown reason.</p>
<p>On top of that I don't think that the CollegeConfidential crowd is really a good indictator of your competition.</p>
<p>don't fret man, i know someone who got regents + chp with 1910 sat... but he had a gpa of around 4.4 and a lot of work experience in the related field of major</p>
<p>haha dont trip, i had 3.29weighted gpa 1 AP class which i failed, and 1920 sat 1 score</p>
<p>crummy sat 2 scores...only volunteering as E.C.</p>

<p>wow my weighted gpa is almost the same as urs. My UC GPA is a 3.24, ACT converted to SAT is 1847, and crummy SAT II scores lol, but a lot of ECs and some special circumstance stuff. Hopefully I'll get in. I really want to go to Irvine, its my #1 choice.</p>
