<p>There are a lot of schools out there that aren’t pure art schools, and have strong art programs within them. For graphic design, I’d have you look at Carnegie Mellon, Virginia Commonwealth, U Illinois Urbana, and Syracuse, for starters.</p>
<p>Yes, I would like to know what aspect of design you are interested in. You should check out University of Cincinnati’s School of Design, Art, Architecture, and Planning. It has a very strong design program along with a very strong, integrated coop program.</p>
