Design schools? Best in the U.S.?

What are the best visual arts and design schools in America? How does risd compare to parsons? I'm specifically looking for painting and drawing. I am not sure what I'd like my major to be yet or what I'd like to do after college but I know I want to be immersed in the arts and would want to be working either in or in conjunction with art galleries or museums, whether my work would be in them or I would be appreciating someone else's whose art was on display.

Also, I'm looking for a school that offers dual degree programs for art and academics like risd.

These are US News graduate rankings for drawing/painting. Since they are grad rankings, they might not tell you much about the undergrad program, but they might give you place to start for schools considered to have good drawing/ painting programs.

1: Yale

3: RISD

5: Columbia, UCLA

7: Temple

8: Va Commonwealth

9: Indiana U

14: BU, U Georgia, U Penn

19: Rutgers U, U Iowa, WUStL

22: Tufts/School of the Boston Museum of Fine Arts; Southern Cal, U Texas

26: Bard, UI-Chicago, U Washington, U Wisconsin

Zap, I can understand why you left off the purely art schools but why leave off CUNY Hunter (#11)? They could even be the least expensive.
