Hey everyone!

I am currently a design studies major at NCSU with a concentration in business administration. What I want to do in the future is something techie and business related. Like work with graphic design, web development, . This is my first year at a university but I am sophomore, so I am still figuring out exactly what I want to do. I want to market myself well to businesses when I graduate, and so I know I definitely need a concentration in business. But I also know that businesses are not only interested in business skills but tech skills as well. I've been told numerous times that businesses want people with both tech and business experience or knowledge. Although I want to do graphic design and web development, I do not want a degree in graphic design because I feel like that will limit myself to only graphic design when I want to do more than that. Not only that but I hear of people being hired as graphic designers without a graphic design degree, so it seems like that would be a tough major to have considering you don't need that degree to do that job. (Not that this last part is really important, but I've been questioned why I didn't/don't apply for graphic design)

Anyways.. Considering that I am interesting in coding and programming would a computer science minor be worth it for me? Will it look good for employers later on? I feel like a degree with Design, business and computer science is a good combination. But I'm also not sure. I'm kind of worried about getting a good job in the future since I'm not 100% what I am doing. It will also probably take me an extra semester to graduate and I am already going to be minoring in business.
