<p>I'm thinking of getting a new computer from the terp tech shop. I have a desktop now, but I'm looking into getting a laptop for school. </p>
<p>What would work better? Should I take my desktop with me or get a new laptop (or do both)</p>

<p>you don’t need both, unless you are really into computer hardware (in which case you probably wouldn’t be asking!) If you are looking to upgrade what you have, D has been very happy with the Dell from UMD. If what you have is sufficient for your needs, you don’t really need a laptop, but it is handy to have (you can take it in the lounges of the dorms, use it in other buildings on campus, etc.)</p>
