I'm a HS senior (Class of '10 woo!!!) who really needs to make some decisions fast, I would love some chances!!

So here I go:
I'm a Hispanic male in Houston, Texas
Ranked 271/547
My GPA is an awful 2.8 UW. Too much "living in the moment" during my freshman year and yea it kinda came back to bite me. I have an upward trend though and I'm really working my butt off to make it atleast a 3.0 by the end of the semester.
Took 4 honors classes, no APs. :-(
Have 3yrs of a foreign language if it means anything.
SAT: 1170 (CR+M) 1690 out of 2400. Took it for the first time in October, plan on really going in for a December retake.
Not too many ECs to mention.

Right now my list is as follows:
University of Houston (think I might qualify for an auto-admit..)
Texas Christian University
University of Central Florida
Florida International University
University of South Florida
Pace University (NYC)
Loyola Marymount
Oklahoma State University
Howard University
American University

So that's all, if anyone has any experience with any of these colleges and can lend an opinion it would be greatly appreciated!!
