Hi everyone! So I decided to post here my questions since in the counseling office in my school (Rutgers) they’re more concerned about their coffee and rushing me out of the office than really understanding my struggles. All I can think of day and night is whether i will be accepted or not into Med school (not DO or caribb). After having all odds against me I ended up with a very low gpa 1.8 ( had to work full time between other struggles) I then managed to get a 3.51 this semester and now I have one semester left before I send my applications which will brining my overall gpa to approx a 3.0. Before I graduate Spring’18 I calculate to do so with an overall 3.4. I’m going to work super hard for the MCAT and I already have done volunteering, have letters of recommendation (academic only not from a committee) and I’m a clinical tech at the state’s hospital ICU. So what are my chances of getting accepted before I graduate? Oh and I’’ Venezuelan. Any information is greatly appreciated it.
