You can keep changing your mind for months. You could go for the new dorms Wildwood or DeGraff. You also could try Gilchrist or Broward if you don't want a living/learning community.

Definitely look into the various living learning communities. Social justice was extra appealing to me.

Gilchrist seems to be the universal best after Landis (prime location near a meal plan dining hall/Landis Green/ect). After visiting the campus the central location issue became a huge priority for me. I also like the community feel better in the smaller dorms. Thus Broward got the second spot followed by Bryan (an entire freshie dorm.) Those three are grouped together along with Landis. Then I chose Wildwood over Degraff, though both are new and house ~700. Degraff however seems to be almost off-campus (so much so Degraff has a fence around its dorm). All are suite-style.

Hope that helped some. Good luck.

i thought it said gilchrist was only for honors along with landis?

Gilchrist used to be honors but not anymore. You are probably looking at an old link.

"While not exclusively reserved for Honors students, Gilchrist Hall is next door to Landis and many Honors students choose this as their second preference. Again, assignment to any given hall cannot be guaranteed."
^^
Was this the problem?
It's only a suggestion if Landis is filled (though by then I bet Gilchrist would be too). Landis is the current Honors dorm. Gilchrist was formally the Honors dorm and is just located right next to Landis. There aren't any spaces in Gilchrist reserved for incoming Honors students.
