I’ve been trying on multiple college boards to find out my chances of getting into the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, but I haven’t had any luck getting replies. Hopefully this time I will.
HS GPA: 3.99 UW, 4.02 W
ACT: 26
Wayne County Community College: 4.00 GPA (25 credits), took courses during HS
Wayne State University: 3.74 GPA (31 credits after this Winter Semester)
Internship experience: Interned at BASF as a high school chemistry intern last summer, I could get very excellent letters of rec from my supervisors.
Major: Microbiology or Biochemistry
I am currently enrolled at Wayne State University, and have 56 credits in total from community college credits and university credits (although 8 of those won’t transfer). I am taking Calculus 2 at a community college in the summer, which is a 5 credit course. I’ll also be working at the Henry Ford Museum. So I’ll have 54 transferrable credits by the fall. I plan to take a course load of 14 credits in the fall semester as well. By Winter of 2017 I’ll have 68 transferrable credits. In high school I was editor and chief of my school’s yearbook, secretary of Science Club, I medaled in Science Olympiad one year, and was fourth in my class of ~ 300 students.
What are my chances? I would appreciate any input or advice. Thanks!
