I recently graudated with a BS in Chemical Engineering. I was interested in the biotech industry but now after working at a good biotech company, I have realized this is not what I want to do. I do have an interest in the tech industry and now feel as I should have majored in electrical engineering. What are the possible steps for me to get in the tech industry? Should I get a master's in EE or CompE? I am not sure how a master's in ChemE would help me get into the tech industry besides manufacturing which is not the department I want to go in as well. I reside in the silicon valley and really want to stay here. I am very confused and am not sure which direction to go. Please help.

Go EE. I’m working on my BS in CompE and I feel like there are more opportunities for EEs that can encompass CompE work as well as CS work.

But only go MSEE if you like heavy math/physics

Will going from a ChemE to EE look good? I do see the amount of opportunities available to EEs so am leaning more towards getting that degree.

I have no idea man but here’s a link: [BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in EE](<a href=“BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in EE”>BS in Chemical Engineering, MS in EE)

Thanks alot syoware. I will do some more research. If anyone else has any input please let me know.
