<p>The dorms I am in are great (new, air-conditioned), but I don’t think there is a transfer housing guarantee (you will have to check on that) so you might have to live off-campus (lots of students do). If you do get a dorm, they cost about $12,000 - $14,000 per year including a full meal plan.</p>

<p>It won’t matter if you are out-of-state, because USC is private and the cost (currently about $50,000/year including room, board, books and expenses) is the same no matter where you are from. USC does give financial aid to transfers if you qualify. Only you would know if it was “worth it” for you.
