<p>I hope so! The only reason my pants aren't wet from excitement is because I understand why Detroiters (and people that live close to Detroit, which I'm a part of) want it played at Comerica.</p>

<p>Any Red Wings fans here? Anybody going? (If I don't get to go, I'll jump off the top of the stadium)</p>

<p>And the most important question: WILL THE SALE OF ALCOHOL BE ALLOWED?</p>

<p>I can't even imagine what it would be like... me and my friend were talking about this during the time of the Big Chill and I didn't think it seemed very likely, let alone that it could possibly be happening while I'm living here!... ohmygodsoexcited</p>

<p>It will be fabulous. The only odd thing is that the home fans will supply the red and the visting crowd the blue. But, wow will the Toronto fans come in droves. What the heck do they care about college bowl games.</p>

<p>I hope they play it Comerica. The Big House belongs to U-M and I don’t like the idea of selling it out to the Red Wings. The Winter Classic also is a conflict with the Rose Bowl and my hopes are that we won’t be at the Big House on New Years Day. Better to save it for Big Chill type events and not oversaturate to dilute what makes it special. Also I like the idea of the largest crowd in Hockey to be for Michigan Hockey not NHL hockey.</p>

<p>From the article sounds like its a done deal. Having other games and events at a 2nd outdoor rink in Detroit. They want 115,000 at a hockey game. I don’t know that they could fill the 150,000 seats at May Day Stadium in North Korea.</p>

<p>I want it in Detroit. Let’s face it, Ann Arbor’s not really hurting. Detroit needs all the good press and all the outside money (tourists) it can get.</p>
