Hey everyone.
So I checked my SAT scores and got a 790 on english! What what!!!#&$+#+
This makes no sense, I got a 36 on the ACT, 5 on both AP English exams, and a 800 on SAT II lit. I'm l1ke the best English writer evaaa! Not trollin' homies!

Obviously, I got a 800 on the SAT! So I'm calling CB so they will fix it. Anyway, what should I do in the meantime? Ping pong?

SAT critical reading, or SAT writing? Either way, a 790 is a much easier pill to swallow than a 3 or 4 on either of the AP English exams or a sub-34 score on the English and reading sections on the ACT, something which many people who are good at English get.

okay, this is the saddest moment of my life. I guess Harvard is out of my league… Ill just go to some lower tier schools like Princeton or Yale… :(

Well jeez you’re making me feel bad. I got a 2390/3200 SAT (790 Math… took it back in 5th grade but now my mom wants me to retake for 3200) but I forgot all about the English section! Now I only have 3 months to study to get the 3200! Tips?

If you’re being serious, use a Barron’s workbook (preferably ACT 36, I used Barron’s Passkey to the ACT… LOL) for English and just use real practice tests for Reading.
