Devastated! What to do?!

Hey everyone.
So I checked my SAT scores and got a 790 on english! What what!!!#&$+#+
This makes no sense, I got a 36 on the ACT, 5 on both AP English exams, and a 800 on SAT II lit. I'm l1ke the best English writer evaaa! Not trollin' homies!

Obviously, I got a 800 on the SAT! So I'm calling CB so they will fix it. Anyway, what should I do in the meantime? Ping pong?

So are you above making a mistake? Let it go.

oh look, a ■■■■■

SAT critical reading, or SAT writing? Either way, a 790 is a much easier pill to swallow than a 3 or 4 on either of the AP English exams or a sub-34 score on the English and reading sections on the ACT, something which many people who are good at English get.

I second this.

Be careful a 790 you might die With those scores you might only get into Yale not Harvard your life is over

OHH NO. I need to go to harvardddd. Only haevardddd ahhhhhhh

Go ahead and dig your grave lol

^
^

Lulz at implication of Harvard being significantly more selective than Yale.

Dude, Harvard is the heaven on earth brah!

I know that you’re trolling, but for those like you. Taking the SAT after a 36 ACT stinks of desperation, and Harvard doesn’t like desperation.

okay, this is the saddest moment of my life. I guess Harvard is out of my league… Ill just go to some lower tier schools like Princeton or Yale… :(

2/10 not funny

Lol it’s funny b/c OP was asking for help on his ACT score in another thread where he got a 29.

@repede 2/10?? Thanks!

@eternalred that post about 29 was trolling ;)

Not that I need it though…

But does anyone have some tips for the ACT English and reading??? :D

Well jeez you’re making me feel bad. I got a 2390/3200 SAT (790 Math… took it back in 5th grade but now my mom wants me to retake for 3200) but I forgot all about the English section! Now I only have 3 months to study to get the 3200! Tips?

If you’re being serious, use a Barron’s workbook (preferably ACT 36, I used Barron’s Passkey to the ACT… LOL) for English and just use real practice tests for Reading.

call CB IMMEDIATELY! HOW DARE THEY GIVE YOU 790
