Developing a hook?

@“aunt bea” I was referencing to the out of school activities. Within my school, there’s a dozen opportunities and I’m in the process of taking advantage of every single one. I would like to also act on out of school opportunities with local organizations and - as everyone has said, I should contact them face to face because obviously emailing hasn’t been working out so far. But my parents haven’t been so keen on the idea of me meeting and discussing these things in person, so they aren’t willing to drive me to meet them.

Also trying to organize a debate team for my high school but I have a feeling my principal is going to refuse because of the funds.

I realize that I will probably get along fine in the world without going to an incredible school, but I do not feel like giving up now simply because of obstacles I am facing now as a 15 year old. Going to a great school has been my dream for many years and I don’t intend to quit.

I think I’m done with this thread. I have realized what I need to realize. I believe the biggest mistake I am making is using all this time stressing and posting long paragraphs on a website instead of realizing that I can use that time going out and doing things. I am spending too much time stressing over college instead of enjoying myself and my life, doing things I love, and learning more about myself and the world around me. I need to help myself realize that I’m going to turn out just fine wherever I go. Thank you for your replies.
