Deviating From Planned Courses

My IGETC, prerequisites, and TAP classes are completed. My major is psychology, so on my application, I put down extra psyc classes for my planned courses for spring. I found out that I need to go into surgery pretty soon, so I can only take online classes. My CC isn't offering any online psyc classes, so I'll have to take philosophy and sociology. Will this affect my chances of getting accepted? Anybody have any experiences with this? My GPA is borderline (3.7) so I don't want this to lower my chances... If it does, I'm thinking of contacting UCLA and changing my alternate major to philosophy. I applied as linguistics and psychology. Has anybody done something like this? Thanks.

Write it in the January update.

I second iTransfer. They don’t start looking at applications until you update your fall grades on January.

You can also try to check out online psych classes from other CC’s.
