The whole point of giving you nothing but an empty square is so that you can use your imagination and creativity to express yourself. So asking others what you should do is rather opposite of the point. However, if you search the Tulane thread you will see various postings where others describe what they did with their projects. You may not want to look, however. As someone else said on here, it might inhibit your thinking. What I can tell you is that they are looking for originality and possibly some insight into what makes you tick. Just looking at your screen name I could think of a couple if interesting ideas.

BTW, I just found your stats on another thread. You probably have already heard this, but I would only send the ACT, it is much stronger than your SAT. If I understand the conversion charts right, your ACT is like a 2200 SAT, while your actual SAT was only 1970. This happens with students that are more subject oriented, which you seem to be.

If you could get that reading score up on the ACT, you would really be strong. As it stands, you look borderline stats-wise for the DHS, but with a good project you could do it I think. I have no idea if URM status plays a role in DHS consideration. I would think not. FOr admission it probably does, but you will get into Tulane anyway, if you apply EA and show decent interest.
