Diabetic living on Campus

I have diabetes and am currently a JR in college. Dont be afraid to let others know you are diabetic. It is the best thing you can do. All my friends are aware of it and watch after me.

If you need any more feedback. Hit me up on aim: Tims Roomate

Hope it helps:

Its really sucks that you have to live with this terrible disease, I hope one day a cure can be found to diabetes. I wish you best of luck with your condition and hope it doesn't affect you too badly at college! Cheers!

i don't really know about how to handle the college situation, but i'm going to second one persons suggestion of finding out about an insulin pump. my mom has been a diabetic since she was 9 and she too always had insulin reactions in the middle of the night. her symptoms were pretty easy to discern, shaking, vomiting sweating etc. anyways, she got an insulin pump and since then she hasn't had any reactions in her sleep. and you won't have to inject yourself anymore.
