<p>You want advice? Forget about it. You basically had the whole room to yourself the moment you contacted him back in the summer. And he was barely even there yet you complained (wait you’re not gay are you?). Anyways, I’m sure they won’t charge you extra based on what your ex-roomie did unless they’re that ■■■■■■■■. Other people might be having horrible roommate problem so they’ll probably hit reset and place them with you (you might be paired with that other frat brother roommates who is probably not horrible at all). </p>
<p>In a sense he done nothing to help you socially (which is suppose to be an advantage to having a roomie). Now is your chance to take advantage of the extra space (for now at least) and invite people in since you don’t have to worry about your roommate coming in and kicking everyone out. </p>
<p>If being in a single is the problem, talk with the Residence/housing office or whatever and explain your situation.</p>
