<p>I got waitlisted :( .. This is horrible - i'm the first one on this thread who did not get admitted. Congrats to every admitted student and his/her parent. I wish you all the best of luck :)</p>

<p>Don't worry, you aren't the only one that didn't get accepted- I got rejected.</p>

<p>But I'm surprisingly okay with that, after hearing that they got 5,800 applications for 600 spots. </p>

<p>I think part of my problem is the fact that I decided to apply just a few days before the deadline, so all of my stuff was pretty late. Unfortunately, Dickinson quickly became my top choice and now I dont know what to do!! I've already decided to write them a letter, and will call a few times. Does anyone ahve any other suggestions? Could I possibly meet with an admissions director or something?</p>

<p>@kate -- don't worry Dickinson is known to accept a lot of waitlisted students.
Just keep in touch with Dickinson and meet the adm counselor if you can. Everything else should work out fine :)</p>

<p>How do u know, nutcracker? I'm also waitlisted and as they said in the letter, last year they accepted 34 from the Wait List and 20 the year before. Hmm, I've just noticed u're from Hanoi (i'm in HCM), so u're admitted, rite?</p>
