Did your senior wind up applying? My daughter is waiting to hear back on RD. ED2 is being released today. I haven’t seen many applicants on these forums.

Other RD parents - did you get this email on 2/7:

I hope your 2023 is off to a great start! I just wanted to pass along some interesting news from around Dickinson’s campus and to remind you that our admissions decision and financial aid notification will be released in just a couple of weeks.

I wonder if the “couple of weeks” is just a figure of speech or if they actually plan to release RD early. Perhaps just wishful thinking during the wait…

Yes, we received that email. Based on previous years, I was thinking something closer to ~4 weeks still (March 9th maybe)? Two years ago, my son was admitted on March 15th.

Sorry, late to the thread… I received this- and I always feel “couple” means 2 right? :slight_smile: but that would have put us around Feb 21st which we are now past… anxiously waiting!

Looks like last year they came out 3/9 and in 2021, 3/15- so I guess the next weeks.

They posted the date of Accepted Students day on Instagram (story) today, so maybe getting close to decisions?

No update in our portal.

That may mean the ED accepted students are able to register now? I am crossing my fingers for a Mar 9th notification, but that’s the earliest I’m hoping for…could be a week or two later depending on how many applications they got.

Could be today (if similar to last year), but the “withdraw” option is still in the portal and sometimes that disappears around decision time. Hoping for today but also wouldn’t be surprised if it’s not until 3/15 or 3/16. Good luck!

Agree on next week being a strong possibility - Admissions FAQ page says to expect to hear 2 months after deadline (which was 1/17 this year).
