Dickinson's financial aid for inte'ls?

Hmm, I know Dickinson is quite generous towards inte'ls but how much do you think one should contribute (not too high )because if one's contribution is low, he or she will likely get rejected?

dickinson is very generous in its fin. aid for International students

just be honest and state your acutal financial need in the fin. aid application and if you get in, you will recieve that much aid.

Ok, thank you.

That's wrong. You would have to contribute at least $5,000 a year. Last year I did not trust the myth and failed.

what do u mean?

i wont go into the details as to how much I got and such. but on my application i stated my actual need and I got what I needed.

i know of some people that skew their financial data to show they need more than they really need to try to get more fin. aid, but that is not only wrong and deprives others that might actually need more aid.

just a thought...

FcNannyUnited, maybe I am too strict about the concept of ' being generous to international students '. As I stated above, an international would probably have to contribute at least $5000 a year to attend Dickinson. However, if someone is able to contribute about $10,000 a year, Dickinson should be ' generous ' to him.
