Diction Words for Writing

<p>I am plagued by a major case of insomnia, so I will give you a list of a few diction/redundancy words I've seen tested on real tests off the top of my head.</p>

<p>corroborate (never seen this in test prep books)
collaborate</p>

<p>proceed (popped up twice in two recent tests)
precede</p>

<p>desirous
desirable</p>

<p>audible
auditory (still don't know when to use auditory)</p>

<p>prospective
perspective</p>

<p>imminent
eminent</p>

<p>ensure (very tricky one that most missed)
assure (still don't know difference)
insure?</p>

<p>sat grammar can use double
prepositions</p>

<p>adhere to in (many claimed it was wrong due to double preposition or sounding awkward, or something along those lines, but it was a no error)</p>
