Adviser said schedules up August 11th or 12th if system complications.</p>
<p>Rumors? I called them up and I was told 5th august</p>
<p>i talked to my peer advisor and she said that this wasn’t normal… i’m so confused</p>
<p>so whats the deal? Advance Registration didn’t work? The deadline is extended?? I’m so confused… >.<</p>

could be because we are freshmen doing it for the first time

<p>no worries. i bet it’ll work. all classes are still open, which means nothing has been processed. and our registration is still open, so i’m guessing that advance registration hasn’t closed. which probably means that it will take them even longer to give us our classes.</p>
<p>hey i just checked penn in touch and now it says access to advance registration is now unavailable… did anyone get that?? guess what means advance registration is now really over?</p>
<p>^ Yeah, I get that too. Looks like it finally took our requests. So glad a friend told me to switch a certain course just yesterday…</p>

<p>They just changed PennInTouch and you guys are the first to do advanced registration on it. It wouldn’t surprise me if there were any problems with advanced registration. </p>
<p>The way advanced registration usually works is you put the classes you want, the deadline passes, you wait, the schedules are put up, you try to fill in the spots for the classes you didn’t get into.</p>
<p>I wish I had taken advantage of the problems to change a thing or two…good thinking to those who did.</p>

<p>I guess they realized that they had left it open for one more day (hence it says July 25 not 24). So we check back in at August 11 at 12:00 AM? I need to switch my Spanish class. :-S</p>
<p>I think we actually get our schedules sooner than Aug 11, like in the first few days of August. Registration doesn’t open again until Aug 12 though, meaning we have time to strategize before add/drop opens August 12. I would keep checking every few days from now on then.</p>

<p>You might get your schedules before August 11 (no idea to be honest) but you can’t do anything with them till add/drop opens up.</p>

<p>I heard a couple people say they were pretty sure it was this coming friday, but again, who knows.</p>
<p>“Starting August 8th you can view your fall roster on Penn InTouch. Starting August 12th, you can drop or add courses to your fall roster on Penn InTouch.”</p>
