<p>My school doesn't offer AP courses. and I was wondering if independent studying is done often. :)</p>

<p>I'm taking an AP exam without having done the course. I'm just going to read the Kaplan book and do a few practice tests. It's English Language by the way.</p>

<p>Well, I emailed college board and they told me which school in my area offers AP exams. My school doesn't, but another school that is near me does. Go to their website, to the AP section, and there will be a link to where you should email them if you want to take an AP exam if your school doesn't have them</p>
