First of all, congrats for all of u who got accepted!!!

I got deferred and was wondering as an intl' student if there are any intl' students who got accepted.

I'm from Israel and I know they accept about 2-3 students each year and I'm pretty sure that Harvard wants to compare me with ALL the other Israelis who will apply this year. Makes sense, right?

as far as I know, No applicants from China Mainland were admitted… I wonder why… 6 students were admitted to Yale, but 0 for Harvard?.. Terrible. I got deferred.

yes, absolutely. TOEFL and SATs are very important for Chinese Applicants. I got an 2400 superscore on the SAT, but still deferred… so depressed…

I got much lower SAT I - 2050
but got 800,800,800,790 on SAT II…

No intl’ students on CC got accepted (???@?)…

It really makes sense that since our spots are very limited, Harvard wants to compare us with ALL OUR regular decision pool (all the applicants from our country).

@ JoyfulPoet, I’m a Canadian living overseas and I was also deferred! It looks like they really may be comparing us to the other people who are applying from our respective countries/citizenships.
