rs51.. i can understand.. 218 PSAT, 1950 sat.. I dont know what happened either.. I'm wondering if the PSAT was ridiculously easy or If i misbubbled on the sat.. or what.. Guess we'll just have to wait and see the test booklet says..

I had the same thing happen to me...

PSAT 234
SAT 2200

However this was my first time to take the SAT... so I'll probably take it again in June. I'm mostly worried that it will make my PSAT score look like a fluke...

I think it's harder to produce the same range of scores on your SAT the higher your PSAT is, espeically for the first time. Plus, the essay is horribly subjective.

PSAT 232 (78 CR, 76 M, 78 WR)
SAT 2290 (800 CR, 800 M, 690 WR)
What is up with WR. I still can't believe it

It's the essay... it's subjective. My psat writing was an 80, but I got a 720 on the sat writing section. (75 multiple choice, 8 essay)

I was sick that day too so I'm not sure how well my scores reflect my actual potential. Horray for flu season... : (

BUT, and 2290 is still really awesome, so if I were you I wouldn't worry about it, especially since you have a 1600 M+CR, which is what most colleges look at anyways.

217 PSAT to 2180 SAT

I had forgotten about this yesterday... you also have to look at the range of expected SAT scores that they gave on your PSAT score report. Even though my scores were lower they were still within that range.

238 (80 M, 78 R, 80 W) to
2220 (80 M, 730 R, 690 W)

What the heck. 5 wrong on writing (10 essay) is a 690?!

Grr, must study more.

My writing went from a 78 PSAT to 710.

Overall my scores when from 224 PSAT to 2230. Down 10 points =(

argg.. i dont get it.. this is sooo frustrating.. I was looking at my score report today.. and I didnt know that like missing 10 questions out of like 67 brings you down to a 650.. thats sooooo dissapointing..

Arg, I just cant beat this.. I dunno.. im so frustrated.. the psat was soo easy.. 72 math, 68 cr, 78 w.. and now.. blahhh.. how many questions do I have to get right and miss/omit to get a 2200 in april..?
