Did anybody anywhere get a letter from W&L today?

Thanks, Dima! You are an incredible resource. Do you happen to know what time they left Lexington?

Well, I was in admissions from 4-5, and they were sent before then, that's as close to an exact time as I could give you ;)

Wait-listed. Is it true the wait list isn't ranked?

Yes. Funny, I was in the office today when an admissions counselor was answering that exact same question on the phone.

Hahah. They sent me a spot on the waitlist even though I didn't send in any SAT II's. I only realized I needed SAT II's after I sent in the common application (they mailed me asking for them).

My first waitlist/rejection. I'm surprised they even waitlisted me, considering I didn't send my whole application.

Congrats everyone! Feel free to IM me at Ben jammin Hur or email morgangh at gmail dot com (my school email addy is messed up) if you have questions about anything! Sorry I haven't been to active on the board; I've been super busy.

(I'm a frosh at the school, like Dima, for those of you who don't know).

Washington & Lee's financial aid package is amazing! Wow, this is incredible.

wdlan88, Congrats! How much financial aid did you get?

W&L Grant: 27095
Outside Scholarship: 2500
Work/Study: 900
Loan: 2625

Left for parents to pay: $10980
(Alot more generous then other schools, I'm quite impressed)

Also note that work-study doubles after freshman year

Thanks Dima, I was wondering about that.
