Dear Newly Admitted Transfer Student,

We are looking forward to seeing you on campus at the University of California,
Irvine!

We know summer is a busy and exciting time as you prepare to transition to the
university, and to help ensure your transition is as smooth as possible we
would like to bring several important deadlines to your attention.

If you plan to attend UC Irvine (UCI) for fall quarter 2011, we recommend you
request now any OFFICIAL documents that may be required to clear your
admission. UC Irvine Admissions requires incoming transfer students to submit
all OFFICIAL documents by July 15, 2011. This includes official transcripts
for all coursework taken in high school and college, through spring 2011;
regardless of summer session plans at the same institution. If the required
documents are not received by the deadline, a ‘hold’ will be placed on your
record on July 19, 2011. This will prevent your enrollment into classes.
Continued delay in submitting documents will result in your admissions offer
being withdrawn.

Official transcripts for courses taken summer of 2011 are due September 15,
2011.

Once you have submitted your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) to UCI,
your MyAdmissionsApplication displays a ‘Things for You to Do’ list. The
first entry lists the specific documents that are required. Clicking on any
item listed provides a more detailed explanation about the document. Clicking
on the ‘MySchools’ and ‘MyTests’ options at the top displays the specific
school and test score information. You can see which documents have been
received; and which ones are still outstanding.

Important Note: Please remember, for an enrolling student, the Office of
Admissions and Relations with Schools must be the primary recipient of all
OFFICIAL documents, not a secondary recipient from any other office or
institution. If you attended UC Irvine’s Extension or ACCESS programs, you
will need to request official transcripts to be sent to the Office of
Admissions and Relations with Schools. Additionally, while some colleges
reflect sister campus’ coursework in a student’s online record, the official
transcripts may need to be requested at each campus.

OFFICIAL documents must be sent to:
Office of Admissions and Relations with Schools
University of California, Irvine
260 Aldrich Hall
Irvine, CA 92697-1075
