Didn't have straight A's?

Oh, I'm sure out of 13 thousand undergrads one or two of them didn't get str8 A's.

Come on now.

Me, and what kind of prick question is that?

Someone is a bit defensive.

3.8 UW cumulative (huge upward trend)

i got straight As all sophomore, junior, and right now half way through senior year. freshman year i did terribly though, got almost all b's

i got in with straight b's

I got 2 Bs for final grades. There is so much more to an applicant than perfection in grades. The difficulty of your courseload is more important than your GPA.

not only did people NOT get straight A's, people get Cs and Ds and Fs too!

For final grades, I had straight A's freshman year, two B's sophomore year, two B's junior year...I got in...probably gonna have two B's this year too...

I'm willing to bet most acceptees DIDN'T have straight A's.

The anybody get i with 1 or 2 C's? What about as many B's as A's.

space, this thread is starting to get on my nerves..

ok here I have an idea.... How about you don't read it it anymore? How is this making you mad?

not any less......

3.34UW up through junior year 1480/780/770/650

i will smack a ***** upside the face, word

uhm.. I have one B from PE (lol;;;), one from AP Biology, one from AP Chemistry, and one from AP Physics.. (Yes, I suck at science)... I guess that's alright as long as i'm not like.. an engineering or science major. I applied to ILR and got in... Science just drives me nuts...

you guys may have gotten b's but how were your ECs. Or your SAT scores

I dunno about the +s and -s but I got some form of C frosh (spanish), sophomore (algebra 2), a B- junior year in english, and comperable amounts of As and Bs. I had a challenging or most challenging course load. I ended up w/ a 3.34/3.60. My ECs were really good I think though.

Nope...you have to have perfect grades to get in...a perfect 4.0, one slip from an A+ in any one class will definitely ruin any chance you have of getting in. (Sarcasm)

Cornellians are still human, i've seen people with pretty poor gpa's get in. I can't give you any personal stories, b/c i did happen to get straight A's all three years. However, this is by no means necessary for acceptance. Relax, do the best you can, and just let life take you where it may.
