<p>Did anyone else save ALL (or almost all) of the college mail they received during the admissions process and total it up at the end, and see how much it weighs? I did that...over 150 pounds!!!!! Colleges send a ridiculous amount of mail, and most of that mail was sent without me asking for it.</p>
<p>Saved it, haven’t weighed it yet. A friend had 128 lbs of mostly unsolicited advertising, but I’m sure my daughter doesn’t have that much despite unrequested college handbooks from Yale and UChicago. What a waste of paper and postage!</p>
<p>With postage- like especially the colleges that send out huge packets that show they cost $5 to mail, and multiply that by how many students??? a lot!</p>
