It said that I didn't get the Trustee/Presidential Scholarship and that I should submit my first semester grades. It's sad, but I knew I wouldn't get a scholarship. Now I just need to wait until March to get an admission decision. :)

Yeah, I got it too. I wasn't really surprised. A lot of people that applied had AMAZING stats! Mine were just....meh. I hope I still get accepted though!

yeah i didn't get a scholarship either =\ i didn't really expect to, i was just hoping b/c i would have loved to find out that i got in early instead of having to wait til April.
aaah stress!!

Hahaha, that's the same with me. Even though a scholarship would be nice, I just want to get in sooner than later. I hate waiting! I just want to get in!!!!!!

the ending was the worst! no word til late march/early april?? ahh. is that really true though? When my brothers got in, they both received letters on March 1. I thought USC had that whole wave system going... do you really think they're not going to send letters out until late March?

I thin it'll be sooner than that. My brother got this same letter we got and he found out that he got in around early March. I think they just say that because if there is a delay, like that is the worst case scenario of when you would find out. I also read somewhere that April is reserved for only rejection letters and all of March is people who get in without scholarships.

^^^
I think it's a form letter. DS's stats are (hopefully) way above borderline. Luckily his midyear grades are good. Bummed about the biggie scholarships, though. Thought he could be in the running.

I got the letter about financial aid for my parents
then the next day
I got the letter stating I wasn't getting the big scholarships
then the next day
I got a letter requesting my midyear grades

now... I have to wait again and I am so focused on it now it is stressful
