I got an e-mail about fin aid yesterday from Pomona..? It had a pdf picture in it and the file attached was merely a .gif and not a document. So I was wondering if anyone else received one either. (The e-mail addy looks legitimate. I was puzzled though..unless they accidentally attached a picture file instead of the pdf? I don't understand how that would work though..)

They sent another one today with the right link :)

Technology does not appear to one of Pomona's strongpoints...

no kidding!! after working with Chicago's gorgeous online application, I was somewhat ... suprised ... with how Pomona chose to do things.
guess that all of their tech grads are going straight to silicon valley :D

To top it off, someone told me that Pomona makes you wait for snail mail to deliver an admissions decision. Is that true this year??

Out of all the college websites that I have visited, I would rank Pomona's as the most cluttered and least aesthetically pleasing.

Yes, Pomona still delivers admissions decisions by snail mail. Acceptances arrive by priority mail in large white envelopes.
