<p>Hey guys, I was just curious if anyone else on here got "pre-selected" by the QuestBridge staff? Here is the email I received the other day:</p>
<p>Congratulations. You've been pre-selected by QuestBridge.
We've identified a group of students we believe to be highly qualified QuestBridge applicants, and we're pleased to inform you that you're one of them! This means we're offering special services to help you complete and submit your application. We hope you'll take advantage, as we're only offering this to a select group of applicants!</p>
<p>I was selected as a College Prep Scholar in April so I am wondering if this is maybe part of the award? What do you guys think?</p>

<p>I also received the email, though I’m not quite sure as to how they decided who gets the email and who doesn’t. I’ve never done any other QuestBridge program before so I don’t know how they might know anything at all about me.</p>
<p>Not only CPS got the pre-select email, but not all QB applicants got it either so do take advantage of the offer if you think it will help. It’s a pilot program, never been tried before, so go for it! </p>
<p>I’m pretty sure everyone who already started the application received that email. They probably say that you’re “pre-selected” so you feel more compelled to take advantage of the webinars.</p>
<p>@zgamergirl I’m not sure if that is correct because out of the 5 kids at my school applying for QB I’m the only one who got that email. I’m still a little confused on how they selected people for this opportunity.</p>
