Wonder if it means anything.

just received one too and was wondering the same thing…

same. and i was wondering the same thing as well. would they invite us to visit online just randomly?

it doesn’t seem to be from Emory but from college week live, which has college fairs

I got one too. The sender of the Email is: James W. Dooley (oxadmission@emory.edu). soooo it is from emory. What does it mean?

I got one too! I was wondering if it’s a good thing or not…

I got one too. But I think it doen’t mean anything. There’re only a few days before they release RD decision.
@pseven21: “oxadmission@emory.edu” is from oxford college. I’m wondering you’re applying Emory or Oxford or both.

i didnt get one

i applied to both and got it

i applied just to Emory University and received the email. I wonder why it is from oxford. Do you think Emory used all of our email addresses that we used to apply and sent it to this website?

I didn’t apply and I got it so I doubt it means anything.

is im.kevin telling the truth considering that is his only post…did you get the email from collegeweek live or specifically from James W. Dooley (oxadmission@emory.edu)

i applied to Emory only and didn’t get one.

did anyone else also realize that the email is from James W. Dooley? He is not a real person but rather the fictional character Emory creates during “Dooley’s Week”. Do you think Emory chose to do that on purpose to introduce accepted students to the campus?

Oh shizzz you’re right! He’s the skeleton guy… now I’m thinking this may mean something. But is it from Emory? Or Oxford?

<a href=“History and Traditions”>History and Traditions;

Oh, it’s from Oxford.
“This Email Was Sent From Oxford College of Emory University.”

& 400 views and only a few responses makes me think not everyone got it.

Haven’t received it. Accepted ED.

If this means anything, maybe they did not send it to ED and rather just RD people waiting to find out. I checked out the website where this event is going on and a lot of colleges have these online tours and whatever they offer and stuff. I could register even if I never received an email to view the tours and stuff of Emory. However, my email was from Emory’s campus meaning they sent it to me to my email that I applied under. If Emory only emailed a select number of people, it would make sense if they sent it to those accepted so the accepted could check out financial aid info and other related stuff. However, I do analyze things way too deeply so I could definitely be wrong.

except the one thing holding me back that it means anything is that it is from Oxford College and I did not apply to Oxford College. Does anyone know if they reject some people from Emory but instead say attend Oxford instead even if I never applied to Oxford.

I applied to both and only received one from oxford!? Wait, patriotsfan, are you saying that yours was from Emory or was it from the oxford at emory campus? Did anyone receive one from an EMORY email address or were they all from the ox@emory.edu or whatever
