<p>i agree with collegeboy13536, the "IN Carnegie Mellon" magazine doesn't mean "hey, congrats! you're in." You people are stressing out way too much. Just wait one more day for the decision letters to arrive.</p>
<p>it just might be a sign. Most of the people who did not recieve this letter has stats comparable to those students applying to MIT or a school better than CMU that might be their first choice. Isn't this called Tuft's syndrome or something along those lines? Maybe they sent them to those students who they saw as likely candidates and wanted to secure them if they decided on accepting them or not.</p>
<p>actually.. i'm looking at my magazine now and it probably means iN as in (inside) Carnegie Mellon. It just gives you info about the school and surrounding area, not how to prepare for your first year or anything special. It doesn't mean that you are "iN".</p>
