<p>U pick anynumber for k and then u average the first and last numbers since u want n which is part of the midpoint equasion.<br>
After u get the midpoint u set that equal to the equation in the middle using the number u picked for k and the answer ends up being 17/2</p>

What did people put for how the author would view the "hard facts", I think the choices were necessary, difficult, solid, and some others, I know I put 'solid', but I was pretty unsure.</p>
