did anyone enjoy high school?

When i was in high school, i never actually thought about how much I would miss high school and how much fun I had. Now that i've graduated, I really miss it, especially senior year. =( Not that i had the best social life but i sure had a lot of fun. Does anyone feel this way?

I don't miss high school. College life for me is waaaaaaaaaay better than my high school life. Less homework, more free time, no dictator-like teachers telling you what not to do and sending you to detention, no parents in your way (although I do miss them waking me up on time; I've already overslept many times!), etc. The list goes on and on.

Yep, there are days that I miss high school. It's such a completely different learning environment. Classes were easier, the teachers were mostly more friendly and willing to help you remember to do assignments, you saw the same friends at the same time every day, etc etc etc. College places the load in your lap. You have to decide how much work you want to put into each class, how much effort you want to put into getting to know your professors, how you're going to remember to do your assignments, and how you're going to make time to hang with friends that you no longer have classes with and live on opposite ends of campus from.
Overall I had a great time in high school, and so far college has been great to me as well. Most days I love the freedoms that come with being in college and the choices that I get to make about my life. Some days though, I wouldn't mind slipping back into my high school and slouching through another day there. When you have breaks for college and go home, try going back to your high school for a few hours or so to visit friends or favorite teachers. I visited several times last year, I enjoyed the contrast between the high school life and college, and my former teachers enjoyed hearing what classes I was taking and my success stories!

I miss the Girls In HS

some of the bio teachers at my UC assign seating charts and take attendance...isn't this weird? (especially when theyr'e known for being boring teachers)

I really enjoyed my Junior and Senior year of high school.

I enjoyed starting schools at 8:15 and ending at 10:45am for a whole year.

are you serious? @@ how did it work

I loved high school. The parties, the girls, and the friends. But in my case, college is the same, just even more amplified.

kinda in a way thinking how i should have focused more on my studies but you can't take those days back

what do you mean, wasent everybodys shecual like that. I needed 40 credits to graduate, I had 36 by the end of my junior year. Then just took 6 classes to finsih it up and 2 extra to get a welding and copper certification.

9 periods a Day which is 9 credits, 2x terms a year which is 18 credits. Wasent so strict all the time, but in 4 years any student could pull off 72 credits, 40 was more than easy enogh/

I do miss those funny moments in class. There were tons of them. Tons of characters. And plenty of opportunities to make jokes. College isn't like that, everyone is a little bit more grown-up and serious (except me, I'm a baby). But you can't beat the freedom you get in college. Go to lecture, don't go to lecture, no one cares. Though of course you should go to lecture. But you don't have to. But you should.

I really didn't talk to anyone in high school. But I talk to my former classmates more than the whole four years of being in the same building online.

This is my last year of high school. I'm lucky to have had an awesome high school experience, but I feel like in Spring I'll be so ready to leave...

I enjoyed high school but at the same time I would never want to repeat it and I'm so ready for college.

at my school, the minimum amount of classes i had to take was 4. So the latest I could leave was at 12. I would love to have your schedule!

Nope didn't miss high school at all. It was hell.

Wake up at 6 am. Don't get home until 3 pm. Get a bunch of homework to do every day after school. Attempt to start on it around 10 at night and don't get done until 1 or 2 am. Repeat except get much more tired each day. Have no social life except hanging out with a few friends once in a while. Had the worst depression and acne at the time. Thank God all of that is gone.

So yeah definitely don't miss it at all. College is infinity times better.

Yeah- I loved highschool.

And I miss it. But then again, I'm at Wellesley, and haven't really had time to meet guys from other schools- so maybe the easy, effortless coed interaction is what I miss.
