Did anyone get a phonecall from Berkeley financial aid office?

Hi guys.
I received a missed call this afternoon when I was in class. The guy left me a voicmail, and said he was calling from berkeley cares program, the UCB financial aid office.
His msg started with "Hi this is ** again", so I assume he sent me two mails but one of them did not go through.
It seemed he wanted me to call back so they could make a correction on my student age(?) report. I am not sure if he was saying age report or something else report.
His email is calcare@berkeley.edu
His number is 18002219340
I will call back tomorrow. But since I've received scams before, I want to ask first so I know how much info I can tell him when I call.

Thanks.

Sounds very fishy.

Call the number on this site instead:

<a href="http://students.berkeley.edu/fao/contact.html%5B/url%5D">http://students.berkeley.edu/fao/contact.html</a></p>

Even if it is real, I don't get why they would use a 1-800 number when they can use UCB aid office's number..

yea I did, like a week ago, but they weren't this week when I called. The message told me they will be back on friday. It was about fafsa for me. Do give them a call back.

thanks for your info.
It was a restricted number. I don't know where that guy was calling from

I just called 510-642-6442. The Berkeley person laughted and said it was not a scam. lol
I will call the number now.
lol

Hey it did seem kinda sketch, better safe than sorry :) especially dealing with SSN's and stuff

the same message over and over again," not available, but will be back on friday"...

I called on Friday. It was real. The reason they called me was because my Fafsa was missing my parents' signature. I received the same msg from UCD.
=(
I am screwed
