Did anyone get a second 'decisions' e-mail?

I've checked my decision on-line (Saturday) and today I got an identical e-mail stating that on March 26th (Friday), they sent me this e-mail, and this was to ensure I had opened it. What? I'm very confused.

probably because you didn’t open it all they way, just looked at it from a preview window.

When I was rejected SCEA, they e-mailed me a second letter. I thought it was very kindhearted of them. :P

Oh, I’m sorry. Even after you checked your decision? I wonder why they do that?

Must’ve been a technical error. I think I remember reading that the same thing happened to other SCEA applicants. I thought it was funny. :P

This happened to me and it actually made me really angry. When I saw the subject line, I thought they had made some mistake and actually meant to accept/waitlist me. All it said was that they want to MAKE SURE that I KNOW i got rejected. Thanks a lot, stanford.

I’m assuming they just want to make sure their rejected crew (the many “talented, qualified applicants” they had to turn away :D) understand completely that they weren’t admitted to the university. I have to agree, it stung a little.

Same here, I thought the same had happaned as hawaiiboy, but to my dismay, no it had not.
