congrats, hopefully i'll be accepted within the next week, i'm getting anxiousss

Sigh, and for those of us who applied before he did and still hasn't gotten a response yet.... more reason to stress.

you guys really don't have much to stress out. my highlights were the 1970 SAT and 89.6 GPA (100 scale, duh) and the extra currrics: marching band, environmental, tennis all for 3+ years. The way i see it, if you have around what i have, or higher in one and less in another--you should be in fine. also, don't forget--they don't review your app unless your guidance counselor sends in all your paperwork crap.

I had a friend who applied with a tiny bit higher GPA but lower SAT score (1950) and less extra currics--he got in fine to SAS.

nominal, is your gpa weighted? and is it true if i apply to 3 of RU's schools, it takes longer for admissions to make a decision than if i only apply to one?

i don't think so because there's been a few people already accepted into multiple schools, when did you apply?

it says my status is 10/24

yeah i applied 10/17 and it changed to 11/13 yesterday so it won't be long before they start looking at your app

wheeee! college of arts/science + business

took about 2 weeks.

anyone else guys
?

nope, i'm expecting a decision either tomorrow or monday

applied nov 1, no response. but they updated my status nov 18. they had all my stuff on nov 5, so i dont see why update with no real update, but i guess they'll eval me soon. hope im in!

I received a letter Wednesday. No word on $$$. SAT 2160, probably will not attend.

good luck to everyone hope to see you guys on campus!

for all those people that have already been accepted, did you guys take the oct. SAT? I did, and my decision is yet to be made. I noticed many of the people in this thread get a decision in about two weeks. tell me....

^
Additionally, does anyone know if Rutgers is going to give out acceptances the week of Thanksgiving? just want to get this over with.

I only submitted my ACT scores from June. I was accepted in less than two weeks. I also self-reported my transcript so maybe that is why I received such a quick decision.

I hope that's the case. They've had everything from me since early October. I decided to self report my grades today (even though they have my official transcript already) just so I could feel like I was doing something about it.... I forgot to add my senior classes in the self report though. I called them up and they said it was all right since my senior classes were in the application.

which rutgers did you get in to?

Newark, NB, or Camden? Stats?

Daughter got into Rutgers/Camden two weeks after applying online. SAT 570 math 610 critical reading, ACT 27, GPA 3.66. We live nearby, will save big by not paying room and board, smaller class size than New Brunswick, Philly is over the bridge, friends in area, who needs the huge classes and bus shuttles of New Brunswick?

I got into NB SAS...27 act, 88.7 w gpa, only one AP, few honors classes, lots of community service and EC. Was nervous that I would not get in but maybe because I am instate and applied early. I applied on 11/2 and got a decision 11/15. I self-reported my grades. I wrote a great essay but I am not sure they even look at them. Good luck!
