Did anyone get accepted for freshmen 09 yet?

Hopeful, what was your gpa (weighted and unweighted) and sat's? I still can't belive you got in, in one day.

Great! Needless to say, I am quite jealous, but I have three + years to prepare, so I suppose I shouldn't be freaking out so much already :D

i had a 3.4

SAT scores in 1700s.

I applied to RU NB, Newark and NB Business

Grats, Hopeful! What was your composite sat? like 1500? I'm happy you got in, but sickened by the fact that some people get accepted in a day and others wait 2 months and get ****. How sickly unorganized.

well it depends on wht u applied for
and wht program..etc
this year the business applicants seem to be in very early
like me..reply in 4 days

dude 1500?

That would mean I got like a 200 on writing

i applied i think the day or 2 days before the deadline and got in today...CAS, biz, and pharm................but waiting and hopin for my ED though. wooo going insane here

hopeful, composite is Math + Reading. Since the Writing section isn't used for admissions consideration. I have 2130 SAT, 1400 Composite. I ask again, what's your comp?

btw, i applied to Pharm, NB SAS, and Newark SAS. that should theoretically take less time than CAS, Biz, and pharm... eh. haha i've lost hope.

With a SAT score in the 1700s, there is no way I could have a 1500 Composite.

And my Writing was my highest score by a good 60 points.

Are you sure they arent considered?

Yea, pretty sure t hey considered my writing.

Scores for the SAT must be from March 2005 or later. For the ACT, February 2005 or later. Scores must include the writing test.

Hey guys!
please help me.
I'm a Asian. I immigrated to America at the end of 2007. I live in connecticut and began my high school here on feb 2008.Now I'm a senior.
gpa here:4.1/4.0
gpa before:2.6(people don't use gpa in my country, it's just my final exam score translate to gpa, and the courses there are much harder than AP courses here.)
total gpa:3.12
I got A in AP calculus and AP physics this quarter, but they don't count to my gpa.
SAT first time:CR 350 MA790 WR 350
SAT second tme:CR520 MA700 WR350
TOEFL 96/120
I was in school basketball team before, and did some volunteer works.
do you think i can get in pharmacy program?
thank you.

Probably not.

medicine has a lot to do with reading and yea...

naaa.... the cr and writing score is going to kill you. you never know though, never know

but my combine score is 1310
and i can use toefl to replace my cr

Hopeful, is that GPA weighted or unweighted? If its weighted, then what the heck? I have a 3.22 gpa and 1990 SAT's (1310 combined), and Im not even accepted yet! And I applied like 2-3 months ago! ***?!

did you choose to write an essay?

hehe
i know there is a faint hope that i can get in.

Yes. Yes I did :(

whatever
my prime goal is uconn, st, john and suny buffalo.
rugters just day dream haha

sorry, hopeful, didn't see the post in which you said your sat score xD is that GPA weighted, bro? and did you put weighted or unweighted on your app when it asked for "cumulative"? (not on the self report, the app)

and they want the writing section in order to gauge how students do when compared to one another in that particular field. it's much too new to make a standard.

i had a brief brief talk with an admissions counselor who told me the writing isnt used for consideration. i was upset because my writing is 100 pts higher than my reading...
