Did anyone get accepted RD to CAS for Computer Science?

I am currently a junior interested in CAS's comp sci program. I have seen that many people have been deferred to Poly. Although I am considering Poly, I want to know the stats of some people who got into CAS.

Just an FYI, next year I will be in all AP classes/highest level possible with straight As and a 30 ACT score.

Thanks!!

Accepted RD to CAS as undecided. Planning on majoring in Computer Science though. See my stats in the decisions thread

deferred to poly for compsci. I still kinda want to go because, I mean, it’s New York. Just not sure how different the two colleges are and how different the core classes I would be taking will be.
How hard is it to transfer to like NYU’s CAS from Poly?

Ghost, did you talk about comp sci in your writing supplement? I am trying to find the best way to get into CAS next year instead of Poly. Poly is super great educationally but nothing beats Manhattan in my opinion.

I got accepted into CAS and my concentration, at least up to now, is CS. You can choose not to be offered to be deferred, as I did. I’m an international student, so I can only talk about the SATs. I got 2090 on the SAT1 and I had several subjects in the SAT2 with 800, 780, 760, 720 and 730. I think my GPA was something like 8.5/10 (again, international measure).

Yes I did talk about it. I talked about how my life was related to the computer field and how everyone believes that I will major in it, but in reality, I have no idea what I wanna do. I then followed by explaining how a liberal art education would help me choose what I want to do and why I am a fit for nyu.
