what the title said... since on the site it says "interviews strongly recommended" ...

I was, and I was also kind of a crappy high school student, so, it wasn't me being magically delicious application-wise. No worries : )

or, like, you know, worry.

but not about the interview.

hmm I thought the interview was strongly recommended for you.
Either way, I wouldn't worry.

I got accepted without an interview :)

Hey! don't worry about interviews. I'm the first person in my family to apply to college in a long while. Back when my parents were applying to college, the vibe was a bit more "interview? what?". I ended up being accepted at Wellesley, Smith, GWU, and American U without doing any interviews. I was sort of in the very middle of my class, gradewise, with a 3.68 gpa.

I'm not saying that the fact that I didn't do interviews with Northwestern and Wash U (rejection and waitlist) didn't make my app stand out enough to get accepted, but don't worry about interviews too much. If those do anything, they only add to your app. If you didn't do 'em, you didn't do 'em.
