Did anyone get all the classes they wanted?

Just wondering how it went this first week of registration. Seems we will have slim pickings in week 3.

My daughter did. There’s a minor issue with a language class - but her advisor contacted her almost immediately w/ exactly what she needs to do and she doesn’t believe their will be any issues.

My daughter did, too. She hit the submit button as soon as it appeared. Some of her classes were full within a minute of her successfully enrolling. Her statistics class even filled the wait list within 3 minutes. Since I’ve heard those that had the first enrollment period will not have it next time, I wonder how difficult it may be for her to get all the classes she wants.

My S got all of his classes. All of his still have space available (except the Writing Seminar).

I think you actually get a random enrollment period next time, then alternate for the rest of your time at Vandy. For the first semester, there are more than two enrollment groups; for all the following semesters, there are only two.

I got some of what I wanted, but I was disappointed with others. For some reason, even though I was logged in and checking, I had to log out and back in before it would show the submit button and the updated class numbers :frowning:
I had to switch writing seminars, pick a different Biology lab time, and I’m the first on the waitlist for my language class. But at least my advisor says I have a good chance of getting in!

I didn’t get the FYWS I wanted. It was full in a matter of seconds!

@Sophie1295, which one did you get?

I took the honors seminar on the ancient Mediterranean landscape. Hope it’s good!

I had some trouble figuring out how to submit my classes, but I still got the ones I wanted.

@SurvivorFan, glad you got your classes!!

Almost. Those Biology labs are quite a pain, though.
