I'm going for Recording Arts major right now.
I first got admitted to IU last month, and now i'm waiting for JSoM to send me the invitation for the interview, but now I'm in nervous since I haven't got invited yet.
Maybe because my preferred audition/interview date is March 1st~2nd? I think I had to select january or february interview though.

DS got his audtion date a couple of days ago for trombone. He requested the first weekend in Feb., and I am not sure if that effects when you get notified.

My daughter auditioned at JSOM a few years ago and I do remember calling because it was getting late and she wanted a January audition. They were very nice and got her date set up quickly so we could books a flight.

I’m a graduate voice applicant; I received notification of my audition (scheduled for January 12th) on December 17th by email. I’d recommend giving them a phone call.

My daughter heard Dec 18th that she will get a voice audition. We are still waiting for the confirmation email of the audition date and schedule for the day. We requested Feb 1 to line up with the Feb 2 BB game against Michigan. Want to get a preview of the full IU experience…

The Jacob SoM site says notifications won’t be sent out until January. Should I be worried that I haven’t gotten one? A thought comes to mind: when I got my acceptance e-mail from IU, it went straight to my Spam folder, which deletes e-mails after a while. Could it be that the audition e-mail also went to spam?

Westwood94, that is always a possibility. I have learned through the years to always check my spam folder - I’ve had some pretty important emails go to my spam folder, even ones sent by people in my contacts list. What audition date did you request? If it’s coming up, I would call them.
