I got a package saying "Unfortunately we cannot grant blah blah..." and I was like SO scared reading the letter thinking "I didn't get in!!" and then it said, "However I'm delighted to inform you that you made it into the liberal studies program and can attend NYU anyway!"
or something like that...
!!!!!!
And the great new is, I can still attend my first choice for college of arts and sciences for my junior and senior year!
Did anyone else get in this way?
and if anyone knows more about NYU then me, can you please tell me if you're able to switch between schools? Like what if I want to change my major before my junior year but then I'm stuck going to the school that I originally applied for? Is it possible to get into a different program instead?
Congrats to anyone else who got in by the way I'm really happy for you, and maybe I'll see you around this fall! =D

if you look through this page, there are a lot of people that got into lsp. congrats!

Congratz on getting in! :D

After you’re done with your first years, as you know you’re guaranteed into the school you originally applied to. If you want to go to a different NYU school, you’d have to do an internal transfer as any other NYU student would have to do normally. You should give the office of admissions a call about this. This is all I know based off reading.

Hey you might wanna check out this thread i made which probably answers a lot of your questions - and yep you can go into any NYU undergrad program except Stern. if you wanna go to Tisch, they only do LSP for 1 year so get in touch with someone from nyu right away and explain so they can take care of it http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/new-york-university/665278-question-answers-about-lsp.html

oh and LSP is the 2nd largest undergrad school so yeah, other people got in as well lol :D
