just got off the waitlist

hey i got off the waitlist more than 24 hours ago. really stoked. if everything works out, im definitely going there :)

I got off a couple days ago too! But I’m deciding between this and Bentley… any suggestions?

muskamore is it for business? If so, Bentley is the way to go…
Not to mention the financial struggles Brandeis has been having. You really do not want your class choices to become minimal, etc.

Though it is true that Brandeis is much more prestigious than Bentley.

Hey, tri723, yes it is for business, particularly marketing. I’ll pm you privately to discuss this :)

I am almost certain that I want to pursue some area of business or law, however, I am also a creative person, which worries me if I were to attend Bentley. I am also concerned about the reputation of Bentley as a whole, when it comes to finding REALLY good jobs (not the average Dunkin Donut’s or McDonalds server), and getting into REALLY good grad schools (I’m shooting for the ivy’s). I am considering going to Brandeis and thus sacrificing the lack of business focus because it does have a better and larger-scale reputation. Would choosing Bentley over Brandeis be disadvantageous when it comes to getting into a top grad school for business or law, or getting a really good job/are you familiar with people graduating from both Brandeis and Bentley, in terms of the caliber of jobs they get post graduation, as well as the quality of grad school they get accepted to? Your insight is greatly appreciated!! Thanks!:)

I can’t speak to any of your questions about Bentley, but Brandeis, which has always had a large number of our graduates going on to prestigious business schools, will be starting a business major this coming fall. We’ve had a business minor for a long time, and our most popular major is economics, but we will be offering a full business major now for people interested in studying the subject. So while you will still have the benefit of a flexible, liberal arts education, you can also get a great, in-depth education in business. To answer your question about law school, our graduates’ acceptance rate to law school is 85% (compared to the national average of 70%) and we have a pre-law advisor available to help students with their applications/journeys to law school. Hope this helps.

Hi BrandeisOfficial
What is acceptance rate for medical school after 4 years undergraduate in Brandeis? And what’s graduate school acceptance rate for biological science area?

Our students’ acceptance rate to medical school is 75% (compared to the national average of 49%). I don’t have any data for you on grad schools in the biological sciences because there’s not a centralized application process for those grad schools, the same way there is for med school, so we don’t have exact numbers. However, I can tell you that a good number of our graduates have gone on to prestigious programs in biological science.
