ANYONE get rejected yet????

did you hear from NYU?
if you didn't, you have 25% chances now.

If you don't get it on monday and tuesday, you are done.

buh bye

^I really don't think that is true.^ One, it takes over a week for mail to get to my house from almost anywhere in the US. Secondly, the website said they mail out letters on the 15 (which is Wed.), but this obviously doesn't seem to be the case. The college says they like to have everyone notified by the first of January, it is only the 11. There is no point to ridiculous predictions, just wait for the letter which is hopefully on its way.

Sorry but I really think it's true at leat to those of you live around here.

we get mails within 2 or 3 days just about anywhere in Mid Atlantic or New England.

Maybe so, we'll all see soon enough. Good luck anyway.

In response to the topic, I haven't heard anything from NYU in about a month.

so if u dont get ur mail by monday, ur probably not in right? does anyone know if they send the acceptance letter first

westcoast seems so out of the game lolol sorry but ... lol

I hate being out of the game, thats why I am leaving.

As has been said before, the letters, both acceptances and rejections, are sent in batches. The first batch has obviously gone out. There will be more mailed daily for the next couple of weeks. If you don't receive something Monday or Tuesday, that does not mean that you have been rejected. Letters of rejection have also gone out. A boy from my younger D's school received a letter of rejection today. There's no way to know for sure whether you got in or not until you receive the letter. Again, good luck to all of you and congratulations to those of you who have heard.

alwaysmom is always informative! thank you and pray for us! :)

kjayson, didn't you already get rejected? and haven't you still been posting a lot since you got rejected?

kjayson wasn't rejected. He hasn't got any mail yet.

Yep, KJ is still in the running.

goddamn you you make me feel like **** haha
no! there is no way i am getting rejected
i wll get in, don't worry about it
i must get in, no doubt :)

i am however accepted....i see my white envelope...sitting on a shelve in West Wood post office...by the way, west wood and Old Tappan share the same ZIP code. However Old Tappan is far richer than West Wood.

Old Tappan's average household income exceeds $400,000. yes, it's quite an interesting town. i criticized the girl who said our county is one of the richest and that she has big parties. well, she is right. we are rich and we are arrogant. especially people from Northern Valley area and around here towns such as Old Tappan, Alpine, parts of Norwood, bits of Tenafly, bits of Englewood are indeed affuluent.

I am rich, my house income exceeds a million US Dollars.
but I did not cheat...i did not donate thousands of dollars to NYU Stern so that I could get in...like my friend did...bastard...
I guess, I suck at life....i am not good at it.

waiting sucks..and i will get a rejection...i know it! ****!!

KJayson...relax! I didn't get a letter either, its ok. I've talked to kids who live Long Island and Westchester who didn't get their letters yet and they live considerably closer to NYC than you or I. Keep the faith, panicking won't solve anything and it sure as hell won't get you accepted. Breathe!

how can you be so sure that you and I will get acceptances

sorry i don't mean to be contrary, but then what is he talking about in this thread?

maybe you are just being an idiot. the thread was for the ED people. we pretended as if we were rejected to prepare ourselves for that. got it?

Anyone living in Texas or a neighboring state receive a notification letter yet?
