Did ANYONE get the application for entrance in 2007 yet?

seaghost, of course it would be a huge positive if you did have close contact with a penn professor but I think all they expect from us is independent research on their university to make sure that we actually have interest in attending. It's really unfortunate that you didn't get a chance to banter with a prof (I didn't either and don't think the majority of the pool did or will have). If you looked to the next question on the list, it's "what do you like to do for fun". It's anyone's guess but I think both questions are most likely weighed the same (not much but it's not so insignificant that you should just blow it off, or worst yet, leave it blank).

i got mine in early august including the viewbook (which is beautiful by the way) and i live in california

for upenn? I got mine a billion years ago...yeah probably in July. What is everyone putting for their professor essay?

pick a professor in your likely field of study, read their book and then write about that...

Is the professor thing really an essay? I mean, they give you four lines and say "please respond in the space provided."

true arg, but i think my method would still work pretty well.

if you requested an app from the penn website do they automatically send you a viewbook with the application, or do you have to seperately request a viewbook?

judging by your posts on the i <3 penn thread, you should probably request a specially laminated viewbook impervious to bodily fluids...

nah dog, i get off courtesy off a red-hot baked potato while yelling "I <3 Penn" no lamination needed.

Ramses> Hahahah. Half the people on this board require that.
