Did anyone get their Brown userID and Pass?

<p>Applied on Dec 23rd, still haven’t gotten my userID for tracking application. That’s weird because I got mine for the rest of the colleges that I applied to, and Brown themselves say that they start sending it starting November [Guide</a> for Applying to Brown | Undergraduate Admission](<a href=“http://www.brown.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply-brown/guide-applying-brown]Guide”>http://www.brown.edu/admission/undergraduate/apply-brown/guide-applying-brown)</p>

<p>Should I send them an email or just wait? Did anyone get their info already? When did you apply?</p>

<p>It’s too early to expect them. Remember that New Year’s is a holiday, and you applied right before Christmas. Providence was also hit by a huge winter storm on Thursday-Friday, and all non-essential Brown offices have been closed. Do not contact them about this until at least January 20th.</p>

<p>Most people who applied to Brown in the last few days before the deadline (including myself) haven’t heard back. Plus, I hear it can take over 2-3 weeks for them to reply. So there’s no need to contact them yet</p>

<p>I sent out mine on the 23rd as well, and I got some emails from Brown today regarding account creation. :slight_smile: (with that being said, I can’t get my account to actually register so that’s cool)</p>

<p>I received emails about creating an account today as well, but I can’t register… it says “The information you provided does not match our records.”</p>

<p>So I submitted the initial application in November but it took me a month to finish the supplement and submit it. I don’t know when I should start to worry and contact them. I did however get contacted by my interviewer today, so that is good news.</p>

<p>Just an update on the accounts for anyone else having issues; I called Brown and was told that emails were accidentally sent out. Apparently another email will be sent out later on, probably sometime this week.</p>

<p>My daughter applied on Dec 25th and never received an email from Brown. Is this normal?

<p>I just got the email! I submitted my application pretty close to the deadline (on the 29th), so if I got mine everybody else’s will probably be rolling in this week.</p>

<p>What letter does your last name start with and where do you live? I ask this because I still haven’t received anything from Brown and I submitted on the 25th. The common app shows that everything has been downloaded however. </p>

<p>I doubt location will play a role but the emails mays be sent out in alphabetical order. My last name starts with P and live in South Dakota.</p>

<p>@Brogrammer: people try this every year, and there’s never a clear correlation. Absolutely no reason to worry at this point.</p>

<p>Haven’t received anything either. My last name starts with a C, so probably doesn’t have anything to do with the last name. Don’t worry. :)</p>

<p>Well, my interviewer did contact me. So at least I know Brown knows of my existence :)</p>
